The sports world lost a legend last week. My son wore his Kobe jersey to school on Monday and then said- "This is super special to me. I want to look at it every day. Can you help me display it?" What mom would say no to that, especially since my big 6'5" kid has idolized Kobe Bryant as long as I can remember.
We paired our shadowbox with our impressively strong magnets- and voila! Such an incredibly simple solution. In 15 minutes or less you can frame any type of jersey. The magnets hold the jersey in place so it can be easily removed and worn again. What a great way to display your favorite items, that cuts down on the expensive cost of custom framing. Of course, you can always sew your jersey to the canvas for a more permanent display.
What You'll Need:
- 24x36" Shadowbox Lid
- Magnet Pack
- Screwdriver
- Your favorite jersey, t-shirt or christening gown, etc.
Magnets:
Pair up the magnets and plan the points where you're going to secure your jersey.
Place the front magnets on the inside of the jersey.
Match the back magnets behind the canvas.
Once you've secured the jersey, stand the canvas up to make sure it falls the way you like! Adjust as necessary.
Ready for the Shadowbox
Now you're ready to frame your jersey! Up to this point, it has taken about 8-9 minutes. Here comes the easy part. Just slide the shadowbox on top of the canvas.
All of our shadowboxes come with pre-drilled holes and screws to attach the shadowbox to the canvas. Use the provided screws.
Hanging Your Display
Our canvases will come with D-rings to hang, but if that's too intimidating you can always hang off the back lip of the canvas.
