About the Artist:

Learns by observing and staring at things. Truman paint images from his dreams, and sometimes paints with no plan or vision at all. His paintings are made in several layers and the abstract creative process of digging through these multiple layers of paintings reminds him of what it might be like digging for gemstones and gold buried deep within the earth. Truman paints until the work feels like a treasure has been unearthed.
