I’m a designer and botanical photographic artist from New Zealand, all flowers featured in my work are grown in my father’s beautiful garden, handpicked throughout the seasons, and digitally captured through scanography. I carefully arrange each composition in a sculptural way, working upside down directly onto a high-resolution flatbed scanner, playing with the shallow depth of field, some details are extremely sharp, while the rest melts into the distance and creates an ethereal floating effect. 

My photographic fine art prints preserve the transient beauty of nature and celebrate all stages of a plant’s life cycle. ‘Starstruck Summer’ was captured during the peak of Summer when the vibrant hot colours of Dahlia’s, Heleniums, and Verbena were growing together at their impressive best.
