Gentle Breeze by B. Shawn Cox

Capturing dynamic movement with his series of Lenticular photographs by B Shawn Cox. Gentle Breeze was inspired by his mom, a 60s beauty queen. Cox layered a Victorian woman and a burlesque, which are iconic female ideologies of social construct that were dictated to look a certain way. As you walk by, the image morphs into a travel back in time and you see the different generational layers of women surrounded by edgy florals. Framed in our modern floating wall frames with gold or silver hardware. Wexel Art juxtaposes vintage imagery that has dynamic movement with our contemporary framing.

About the Artist: 

B. Shawn Cox is an artist bound by two responsibilities. First to capture, emote and communicate an idea and then, to transform the chosen media itself as part of the expression. His work offers reflective commentary on social mythology by repurposing iconographic figurative stereotypes in graphic, lyrical, playful, and layered compositions.

Framed lenticular prints have a 10-15 business-day lead time.

Clean acrylic panels with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, or dish soap and water when needed. Do not use glass cleaners or spirits, which can dull the surface. 

We offer shipping to Canada, Mexico, UK, and parts of Europe. If we ship to your country, the available shipping methods will show up in your cart. Wexel Art does not charge or collect duties, meaning you will be responsible for paying duties upon receipt of goods.

Please make sure all of your shipping info is correct before completing your order as we cannot guarantee we will be able to make address changes once your order has been placed.

The deadline for overnight shipping is 1pm Monday through Thursday. The soonest overnight orders can ship if placed after 1pm on Thursday will be Monday.

We would like to inform you that all international freight shipments originating from the United States require a licensed customs broker to facilitate the import process in your destination country. The broker is responsible for handling customs clearance, duties, taxes, and any required documentation to ensure your order arrives smoothly and without delay. If you do not already have a broker, we recommend securing one as soon as possible.

You may return unused frames in their original packaging for a refund within 30 days of purchase.

2. You'll receive a return label via USPS or UPS to return the item(s)

Return Policy:

• We offer free returns, but original shipping charges are non-refundable. You will be refunded to your original payment method upon return inspection.  If the item appears used or can't be returned to inventory, a fee of up to 15% may be deducted.
• Custom frames and clearance items may not be returned and are non-refundable.
• If you suspect an item was damaged during shipping, we will make it right ASAP. Keep all packaging, photograph the damage and the box, and contact us immediately. Claims need to be filed with the carrier and they may need to inspect or return the package to verify damage. After this is done, we can begin getting replacements to you as quickly as possible.
  

We offer a lifetime guarantee on Wexel Art Frame product components. This warranty covers workmanship and materials against defects during normal, non-modified, recommended use, for the life of the product. Abuse, modifications, normal wear and tear or cosmetic wear and tear, including scratches or surface abrasion, are not covered. During this time we will repair or replace a part at our discretion. Lost parts are not covered. Magnets are hand embellished and may show slight variations. This is normal.
