Natalie Ciccoricco
Natalie Ciccoricco is a fiber artist based in Redwood City, California. She works from her home studio, combining embroidery thread and yarn with paper and found organic elements, such as wooden sticks and stones.
Her Nesting series began under quarantine, when she started making embroidery artworks from materials found in her yard, on her deck and on nature walks. Found sticks become part of the stitched geometry, held in place by the same thread. Her art is an ongoing exercise in finding beauty and hope in challenging times.
