I’m a designer and botanical photographic artist from New Zealand, all flowers featured in my work are grown in my father’s beautiful garden, handpicked throughout the seasons, and digitally captured through scanography. I carefully arrange each composition in a sculptural way, working upside down directly onto a high-resolution flatbed scanner, playing with the shallow depth of field, some details are extremely sharp, while the rest melts into the distance and creates an ethereal floating effect.
