I ordered a 20 x 30 frame. Recently bed a 23 x 33 frame. Useless for my purposes.
Truthfully, we haven't even tried to put photos in the changable tray. We are so excited, we are just displaying the tray on the ottoman as if it is a piece of art..
This is a perfect shadowbox to show my son’s patches and pins. The canvas looks beautiful with the linen backing and acrylic front.
I scored a gorgeous folk art piece on marketplace. Hand embroidery on burlap stretched over a wooden frame. I wanted it framed simply to avoid it collecting dust. I took it to my local Michael’s but they couldn’t accomplish what I wanted. Then I found Wexel!! My one of a kind art is now safe behind the most beautiful, almost invisible frame. Thank you!

We are new to shadowboxes, and we are loving them! We bought 2 of the pre-set sizes. We used the 18x24 to display 140+ shooter marbles in a bathroom that had just been remodeled. The shadowbox gives a great finish to the piece. It really fits with the contemporary look of the bathroom. And we are just getting started.

I initially got 2 separate quotes for having an art piece framed professionally and it was twice the cost of the Wexel acrylic box. After visiting the Wexel store in person and asking a bunch of logistical questions, I ordered an acrylic frame with back for our painting. The artist emphasized the ability to see the paper in the frame and the size of the box made it optimal where the front didn’t touch the piece. We just hung it and it looks great!!

The box is totally trashed and I am afraid to open to see what the frame looks like.
First, customer service is truly above and beyond. I was having a frame emergency (!)… my home was being photographed for a magazine and some art that was prominent badly needed reframing in less than 5 days. And I needed TEN frames! Customer service team was extraordinary… they worked together and the frames got here in two days giving me time to assemble and have them hung. PHEW! Then… the frames themselves are super high quality; beautifully finished edges, great hardware, and surprisingly easy to install. They provide a template, so just takes a little calm focus but actually is easy and ends up looking amazing. 100/10 !!!

I ordered a 12x12 shadowbox and it was scratched on arrival. I contacted Customer Service and they replaced the scratched lid! Excellent service!

The screw holes should be centered mid-point on the thickness of the wooden strainer. This would place them approximately 1/2” above the edge of plexi. Mine were a bit close to the edge, 1/4” above the edge. That said you make a nice product and it worked very well for me. Thank you.
