About the Artist: 

Ellie Malouf Gilchrist graduated from Texas Tech in 2012 with a degree in Apparel Design & Manufacturing and Studio Art. She headed straight for New York City for a coveted fashion internship at Harper's Bazaar, spending 11 years in the city at various fashion houses. In 2018, she earned her master's in fibers from SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design). Ellie now resides in Dallas while pursuing fashion textiles, her own clothing and accessories brand Empowered Cowgirl, and the joys of motherhood.
